Welcome to The Seasons Within! The Seasons Within is a 4 part series using the theme of the four seasons and what they teach us about our personal growth.
Join me to find out what we can learn from the four seasons. Each season has lessons to teach us about how to live and grow. Rest (Winter), Growth (Spring), Energy (Summer) and Letting Go (Autumn) can be seen in the four seasons. We will explore each theme throughout this year.
We are starting with “Winter’s Gift: Finding Growth in Stillness.”
The bare trees, the quiet of newly fallen snow, the dormancy of vegetation – these all have lessons we can learn to help us have abundant personal growth this year!
We are starting with rest. This may be the hardest to put into action. Slowing down isn’t something we are used to striving for. Normally it’s “faster” and “bigger” that we are asked to aim for. This winter, we will strive to slow down and in doing so, rebuild.
To make sure we have the strength for the major growth and blooming that happens in the spring, we need to rest in the winter. We will learn from Mother Nature, who has many more years’ experience than us at bringing beauty into the world.
